For many years, I have worked with couples as a Registered Psychotherapist, Registered Marriage and Family Therapist, and Certified Sex Therapist. I have degrees in psychology and theological studies. Over the past few decades, I have extensively developed my listening and communication skills while helping people work through a wide range of difficult and sensitive challenges in their lives. I am trained to work in a positive way with individuals, and to help them identify what is most important to them. I would be privileged to bring these skills to the experience of creating a thoughtful and meaningful ceremony for you.
I am passionate about relationships and meaning. I am deeply interested in the spaces in our lives where we can create profound attachment and momentous change. My work as a therapist has taught me about the incredible diversity of human beings, and the wide variety of possible relationship configurations. Kindness, honesty and inclusion have always been core values for me. I believe in the positive and transformative power of relationships. In designing a personalized service for you, my passion for, and knowledge of, relationship will help us to create a ceremony that shines with meaning.
On a more personal note, I have been happily married for several years and have two feline companions. I enjoy music, dancing, hiking, cycling, reading and travelling. I also love to celebrate life!
